Mission

The Quality Technician ensures that incoming components and materials, in-process production activities and final assemblies meet all required specifications, standards and quality procedures. You will perform inspections, document results, support non‑conformity management and work closely with planning, production, logistics, engineering, configuration, procurement and the quality team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform incoming inspections on delivered parts, materials and components, including administrative, visual, dimensional and functional checks.

• Conduct in‑process and final inspections during assembly, integration and testing.

• Verify that products comply with drawings, datasheets, inspection plans and configuration requirements.

• Ensure proper registration, traceability and documentation of all inspection results.

• Identify, register and isolate non‑conforming items and support the follow‑up process (rework, repair, scrap).

• Verify calibration status of measurement and test equipment and report any issues.

• Apply relevant QMS procedures (ISO 9001 / AQAP) and support internal/external audits in an operational role.

• Collaborate closely with Quality Manager/Engineer/Technician, Planning, Production, Logistics, Engineering, Configuration and Supplier Quality.

• Support continuous improvement by identifying issues and proposing practical improvements.

Profile

• Technical diploma (A2/Bachelor) in mechanics, electronics, mechatronics or equivalent experience.

• Experience in an industrial or high‑tech environment is considered an asset.

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.

• Knowledge of measurement techniques and quality inspection tools.

• Basic knowledge of ISO 9001 and quality control principles.

• Strong attention to detail, structured way of working and analytical mindset.

• Good communication skills and ability to work with technical teams.

• Fluent in Dutch; technical English required; French is a plus.
