The Belgian division, Exail Robotics Belgium, develops advanced (underwater) drones and unmanned surface vessels (USVs) that detect, identify, and neutralize sea mines. Thanks to our innovative concept — already deployed by the Belgian and Dutch navies — mine countermeasure operations can be carried out much more safely and efficiently. What will you do?
- Perform in-depth diagnostics on electronic assemblies
- Carry out PCB repair and precision soldering work (SMD and through-hole)
- Repair components in accordance with quality standards
- Accurately document analysis and repair results
- Work according to ESD and safety regulations
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace
- Support testing, validation, and rework activities
Profile
- Strong knowledge of electronics
- Experience with electronic diagnostics and component-level repair
- Experience with SMD and through-hole soldering techniques
- Ability to read and interpret technical schematics and drawings
- Accurate with excellent hand-eye coordination
- Computer literate (Linux, MS Office)
- Knowledge of IPC 610 / 620 / 7711 / 7721 is a plus
- Good command of English; knowledge of French is an asset
- Team player with a strong sense of responsibility
