Mission
Under the responsibility of the Commercial Director, you participate in the definition and implementation of the commercial strategy to achieve the objectives of taking orders and developing the company with the accounts acquired and to be acquired.
What are you going to do?
Your main missions will be:
- Meet or exceed sales revenue, sales profitability, new customer acquisition, and customer satisfaction goals in assigned region.
- Identify and pursue business opportunities within the Maritime world, specifically focusing on surface and subsea solutions.
- Generate new business opportunities and management of the sales process through closure of the sale and service.
- Make presentations, prepare proposals, conduct negotiations regarding pricing and terms.
- Assist customers with their surface and subsea solutions, ensuring Exail solutions are planned and managed within their project objectives, timelines, budget, and quality standards
- Being accountable for your sales target and overachieving on that sales target.
- Collaborate with executive leadership to develop sales goals and strategies for your assigned markets and forecasts.
- Conduct market research to identify new potential customers, understand their needs and assess market trends and competition
· Work closely with cross-functional teams with the Exail group, including engineering, project manager and operations, to ensure seamless project execution and customer satisfaction.
· Participate and represent the company at trade shows, conferences and product demonstrations.
· Stay updated on industry best practices, emerging technologies, and regulatory requirements.
Location: Lincoln RI - Denver, CO (or remote from US-based home office to be discussed)
Profil
Prerequisite Skills:
- Graduated from an engineering school/business school, you have at least 2 to 3 years of commercial experience in the maritime world, preferably with surface and subsea solutions for navigation, positioning, and subsea imagery. You ideally have dual technical and commercial skills.
- Strong team spirit as job involves collaborative work with Sales Team, Support Team and all Divisions back in France
- Ready to work in a start-up environment without the traditional support of a large corporate office
- Office tools no longer hold any secrets for you.
Behavioral Skills
- Excellent English-language oral communication skills; good written and analytical skills; fluency in the Spanish or French language is a plus but not required
- Sales & Customer focus.
- Force of proposal, you like to be at the initiative of new sales projects.
Travel Requirements:
- Understands that face to face interaction with our prospects is required in North America
- Travel to Exail HQ in Denver CO at least 4 times / year
- Occasional travel to France
- Travel up to 50%
