Located either in the United Kingdom, our future Regional Sales Manager will be part of the growing worldwide commercial organisation of more than 75 people.
You will be responsible for developing sales of Exail's extensive product portfolio in defence applications and managing sales actions in the region to meet targets.
Job Description :
1/Sales Activity
- Responsible for the company’s sale budget in the region
- Support and develop existing clients through visits, phone calls and exhibitions
- Proactively develop new business opportunities through effective prospection
- Prepare tenders and pre-qualification tenders
- Co-ordinate the targeting of new areas of business
- Prepare quotations and system proposals with the support of Headquarters, product teams, & the Head of sales in UK
- Negotiate commercial conditions
- Plan and co-ordinate sensors and systems demonstrations with technical teams
- Manage on-going programmes to meet contract and customer objectives
- Prepare and carry out technical sales presentations with the help of BDM's and product managers
- Appoint, manage, and support a network of agents and distributors to best achieve the company’s sales targets
- Liaise with the technical teams and Exail divisions on each project requirements
- Attend conferences and exhibitions
- Attend corporate events
2/Analysis, Reporting & Communication
- Deliver regular and accurate reporting and forecasting
- Maintain up-to-date customer records and sales database in the CRM
- Build and manage an efficient Sales Action Plan
- Prepare customer and project mapping for complex sales and tenders
- Contribute to the wider sales team’s knowledge base and communicate regularly with wider European and Global sales teams through the Sales Organization
Profil
- Business/Sciences/Engineering degree
- Proven track record in a technical sales role
- 10+ year sales (or equivalent) experience
- Fluency in English, additional languages an asset
- Ability to work autonomously and cross-functionally
- Ability to listen, empathize, think critically and strategically, show enthusiasm, tenacity, curiosity, with good communication and teamwork skills
