Mission
In the frame of the development and evolution of our current Mine Counter Measures (MCM) systems, we participate in several R&D projects at national and European level. As system architect of unmanned systems, you will take the technical leadership for Exail Robotics Belgium in a European R&D project, ensuring the following of the V cycle for all the developments.
Profile
The tasks entrusted to you :
• Work in close collaboration with the project manager to define, organize and supervise all technical tasks.
• Implement and validate the V cycle for each system.
• Optimize the teams’ efforts and workflow during the project.
• Validate all technical developments, documents and reviews.
• Monitor the prototyping and the tests of all systems.
• Be the technical point of reference for Exail Robotics Belgium in the Consortium.
• Be the main technical interface between the teams of Exail Robotics in France and Belgium.
Your profile
• You have a master’s in engineering, specialized in electronics, electromechanics, robotics or mechatronics.
• You have at least 5 years of experience as a system engineer for robotics or automatization applications. Experience in marine robotics is a plus.
• Experience in MBSE is a plus.
• A plus if you are familiar with the maritime world and its constraints.
• Teamwork and good communication skills are a must.
• People management skills are also a requirement.
• You have a proficient level in English. Knowledge of French and/or Dutch is an asset.
• You are hands-on, and therefore not afraid to roll up your sleeves yourself.
• You like a challenge and enjoy trying new things.
