As a member of the Cortix Sense team, you will focus on sea state analysis using sensor data. Cortix Sense is a software solution that enables obstacle detection, tracking and avoidance for autonomous navigation of surface vehicles.

Your primary objective will be to research and develop methods to estimate the current sea conditions from various sensor data (e.g., inertial navigation system, cameras, lidar, etc.). This feature will then be integrated into USVs to provide sea state estimates and applied to previously recorded sensor data.
