Mission


As a Logistic Buyer, you are the bridge between departments, such as purchasing, production, and the warehouse. You offer planning support for incoming goods, orders, and stock management.

 

YOUR TASKS

  • You take care of administrative follow-up and you maintain stock levels by placing timely call-off orders.
  • You keep in touch with the supplier regarding the orders placed and you take action if the delivery deadline is compromised.
  • You follow up logistical changes with the suppliers in cooperation with our quality colleagues. 
  • You keep track of the suppliers’ KPIs.
  • You keep the ERP system up to date with regard to the purchasing processes. 
  • You report directly to the purchasing manager.  

YOUR SKILLS

  • You are administratively strong.
  • Knowledge of MS Office.
  • Experience with an ERP system is an asset.


YOUR PROFILE

  • You have a bachelor’s degree or equivalent through experience.
  • You have initial work experience in a logistical or purchasing position in which the management of orders and stocks were part of your duties.
  • You are a strong communicator and can easily build relationships.
  • You work independently and take responsibility for your tasks and projects. 
  • You pay attention to detail.
  • You are fluent in Dutch and English. Knowledge of French is an asset.
