As a Software Engineer – Platform & Tooling, you will work closely with local development teams to improve how software is built, tested, and deployed for robotics applications. You will take ownership of the development ecosystem—designing, maintaining, and evolving CI/CD pipelines, development environments, and shared tooling.
Your focus will be on ensuring these systems are reliable, scalable, and easy to use, while promoting consistency across teams. You will also identify gaps in current workflows and implement practical improvements that reduce friction and enhance developer productivity.

Our technologies make demining operations safer, faster, and more reliable than traditional methods.
Your Responsibilities
You will help shape the future of software development within the embedded software department in Belgium. In close collaboration with the technical lead, you will build, extend, and standardize development and testing workflows. You will act as a key reference for internal tooling and infrastructure, while coordinating local initiatives with our parent company in France.
- Drive the evolution of the internal development platform, including migrations to newer C++ standards and architectures
- Develop and maintain internal build tooling, testing infrastructure, and shared libraries
- Design, implement, and improve development, testing, and deployment environments
- Optimize developer workflows and reduce bottlenecks across teams
- Ensure reliability, reproducibility, and consistency in build and deployment processes
- Collaborate with teams in Belgium and France to align tools, practices, and standards
Your Skills
- Strong C++ development experience, with knowledge of modern standards (C++11–C++20) and build systems
- Experience with Python 3 for automation and tooling (scripting, packaging, CI integration)
- Familiarity with build tools such as CMake and package managers like Conan
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD systems (e.g., Jenkins) and development environments
- Solid understanding of software testing principles and best practices
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git)
- Proficiency in Linux environments, including shell scripting
- Experience with virtualization, Docker, and/or Buildroot is a plus
Your Profile
- Degree in software engineering or equivalent through experience
- Broad technical skillset with a proactive and hands-on mindset
- Pragmatic problem-solver with a passion for building and improving systems
- “Jack-of-all-trades” in software engineering, or a highly motivated learner with wide-ranging interests
- Strong interest in automation, tooling, and developer experience
- Comfortable engaging with developers to understand their challenges and translate them into practical solutions
- Team player who supports others while also working independently when needed
- Fluent in English; able to follow technical discussions in French. Knowledge of Dutch is a plus
- Based in or willing to work in Mouscron, with occasional travel to our production site in Ostend
